EHS Advisor

As our EHS Advisor you will develop and implement the sites environmental strategy, compliance processes and procedures where you will contribute to delivering a Zero Ham culture, displaying a Gemba focussed mindset.

 

  • You must hold a relevant sustainability qualification or have the ability to demonstrate strong working knowledge around the subject of sustainability (scope 1,2&3)
  • You will hold a recognised Level 4 Environmental Management certificate a certificate in Environmental Management.
  • You will hold a Level 4 Occupational Health and Safety qualification or be open to training and upskilling to this level.
  • You will be Computer Literate, with sound working knowledge of software packages such as Microsoft Office.
  • You have the ability to work within a pressurised environment.
  • You are flexible and proactive with the potential of working out of hours in light of accidents and incidents.
  • You have influencing skills and the ability to communicate and present at all levels of the organisation.
  • You will manage information of a confidential nature displaying a high level of integrity
  • You will develop and deliver EHS training programmes.

YOUR ROLE

 

  • You will be based at Coleford with travel to Stockley Park and Dublin offices when necessary.
  • You will provide support and technical expertise across all Business Units in respect to sustainability reporting such as scope 1,2 & 3. 
  • You will play a leading role in the GB&I sustainability steering committee. 
  • You will assist the Suntory European Sustainability Team with it’s Food Waste, Landfill Waste and Recycled Waste programmes.
  • You will lead environmental and sustainability reporting across all business units such as KPI reporting and Environmental Agency/MCERTS reporting.
  • You will carry out pro-active and reactive EHS inspections, audits and Gembas. 
  • You will be a key resource in maintaining all EHS accreditations.
  • You will support the EHS Manager in ensuring compliance with EHS legislation and corporate guidelines.
