Technical Training Engineer

About your role

  • Lead and sustain the site’s learning capability through Learning Management System (LMS) administration, digital learning solutions, training video management, Dojo-based capability development, knowledge management, and training facility governance to support operational excellence and people capability development.
  • Design and manage, with a particular focus on technical capability building, to support career path development and succession planning.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and continuously improve the LMS, digital learning platforms, training records, competency tracking, and learning analytics.
  • Drive training digitalization initiatives, including e-learning content, digital forms, learning dashboards, and training process automation.
  • Generate, operate, maintain, archive, and update training videos and digital learning content.
  • Manage video recording, editing coordination, storage standards, version control, and accessibility of training materials.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs in Safety, Quality, Technical, and Monozukuri Dojo environments.
  • Develop and maintain Dojo training standards, practical exercises, learning kits, and training effectiveness evaluations.
  • Record, document, and share Focused Improvement (FI) stories, best practices, lessons learned, and Kaizen achievements.
  • Lead Knowledge Management (KM) activities, including knowledge capture, content validation, publication, and cross-functional sharing.
  • Manage outsourced training providers, training facilities, contracts, schedules, and service quality.
  • Coordinate annual training plans, learning calendars, and competency development programs.
  • Monitor training KPIs, skill matrices, certification status, and capability development progress.
  • Support TPM, Operational Excellence, Monozukuri, and organizational capability-building initiatives

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Industrial Management, Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in training, Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning, TPM, Operational Excellence, or manufacturing capability development.
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS) administration, e-learning development, training video/content management, and knowledge management (KM).
  • Understanding of TPM, Lean, Continuous Improvement, Monozukuri, Dojo training, and capability-building concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Canva, and dashboard reporting.
  • Strong communication, presentation, project coordination, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to design and implement training solutions aligned with business needs, competency development, and succession planning
