About your role

This role leads product development activities in alignment with company strategy, ensuring high quality, cost efficiency, and timely execution. The incumbent is responsible for driving end-to-end technical development and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer and business requirements.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role ensures successful product launches while building team capability and fostering collaboration. It also oversees all technical aspects of products, ensuring robust development, optimization, and delivery of innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

Product Development Management

• Lead end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization
• Manage priorities, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient delivery
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, internal processes, and regulatory requirements

Team & Organization Development

• Lead, coach, and develop Product Development team members
• Drive capability building, knowledge sharing, and succession planning
• Oversee performance management and manpower planning

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing, Manufacturing, Legal, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
• Support plant scale-up, product launches, and issue resolution
• Provide regular project updates and escalate key risks to management

What You need to be successful

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food technology, Food Science, Engineering, Product Development, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Food & Beverage or functional food industry
• Strong knowledge of health supplement technologies and ingredients, with the ability to drive innovative product development approaches
• Solid understanding of food regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, while managing multiple projects and priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex business challenges
• Effective in cross-functional and multicultural environments
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
