About your role

The Operational Excellence (OE) Specialist is responsible for supporting and driving operational performance improvement through effective performance monitoring, KPI/KAI management, Policy Deployment execution, Daily trouble follow-up, and Focused Improvement (FI) activities. The role ensures alignment between plant objectives, departmental targets, and improvement initiatives to achieve sustainable business results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and People (SQDCP).

What You'll Do

  • Monitor, analyze, and report daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational performance to support effective business decision-making.
  • Maintain KPI and KAI tracking systems, ensuring alignment with plant objectives, departmental targets, and Policy Deployment requirements.
  • Follow up on daily trouble, corrective and preventive actions, and improvement plans to ensure timely closure and sustainable results.
  • Coordinate Focused Improvement (FI), Kaizen, TPM, and Operational Excellence initiatives to drive productivity, cost reduction, quality improvement, and loss elimination.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, reports, and data analytics tools using Excel, Power BI, or other digital platforms to enhance performance visibility.
  • Support management review meetings by preparing performance summaries, gap analyses, action tracking, and key business insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse, and support functions to ensure effective execution of improvement activities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven problem solving, and operational discipline across the organization

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, TPM, Lean, continuous improvement, or related functions.
  • Experience in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual performance tracking, KPI/KAI monitoring, performance reporting, and gap analysis.
  • Experience in supporting or coordinating Kaizen, Focused Improvement (FI), TPM, Lean, cost reduction, productivity improvement, or loss elimination activities.
  • Experience in following up daily trouble, non-conformity, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and improvement action plans.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel, dashboards, reports, or data visualization tools to support operational performance review.
  • Experience working with Production, Quality, Engineering, Planning, Warehouse, or other support functions is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking, communication, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and results-oriented mindset.
