Import Officer
Job Summary
Responsible for managing the import process of goods and raw materials, ensuring all activities comply with relevant laws and regulations. This role involves preparing and verifying documentation, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery in accordance with production and operational requirements.
Job Responsibilities

Prepare and verify import documentation for goods, raw materials, machinery, and spare parts under various import privilege schemes to ensure compliance with relevant import laws and regulations.

Coordinate with government authorities, such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Plant Quarantine Office, for the preparation and submission of import permit applications for regulated items.

Liaise with customs brokers and related service providers to carry out import customs clearance procedures, and follow up on required documents and information to ensure accurate and smooth import operations in accordance with customs regulations.

Coordinate the export of product samples for testing abroad according to departmental requirements, ensuring timely delivery.

Manage the return/export of non-conforming raw materials to suppliers within the specified timeline, including coordination with courier service providers to prepare and process export documentation for samples or raw materials for testing and evaluation.

Review and summarize all related expenses under your responsibility, and submit to the accounting and finance department in a timely manner.

Maintain well-organized documentation and ensure the workplace is clean and orderly, in compliance with 5S, GMP, and other company standards.

Participate regularly in company activities and provide full support as required.

Strictly comply with company policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in line with various management systems.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Maritime Business, Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience in import and export operations

Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs

Basic communication skills in English

Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external departments
