Costing Manager

Job Summary

Oversee management accounting including product costing, manufacturing accounting, sales, non-inventory and inventory transactions to ensure proper existed internal control system and followed by related departmentใ

Base: Chonburi, Pinthong 2

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budget planning including material, direct labour, and manufacturing overhead. Calculate standard cost and transfer pricing.
• Oversee cost accounting process including month-end and year-end costing activities, inventory management, and provision/write-off. Conduct cost variance analysis against forecast. 
• Prepare monthly forecast on COGS with material price and production variance estimate.
• Provide financial performance reporting to support Operations performance review.  
• Partner with supply chain leaders to drive productivity and cost saving. Validate productivity with monthly reporting submission to Regional team.
• Provide product cost estimate to timely support new product development.
• Ensure that by-products and scraps are properly kept track, correctly written off, and completely sold out.
• Manage staff employees and periodically review accuracy and compliance with the established rules and accounting principles. Ensure financial procedures are being followed consistently.
• Act as finance partner providing financial recommendation and guidance to cross-functional team. Review financial costing processes with Supply Chain and F&A team from time to time to strengthen effective internal control and system.
• Follow company regulations and all implemented standard system.

Skills and Experience

•  Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Master Degree in Business 
•   5-10 years experience in manufacturing accounting / costing  
•   At least 2-3 years in management level
•   Good analytical and presentation skill
•   Good communication and interpersonal skill
•   Good management skill
•   Good communication in English
•   Computer literate (Proficiency in SAP is required)
