Manager, Preventive Maintenance

The purpose of this position is to oversee all preventive maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of equipment, and leading a team of maintenance professionals. This role involves strategic planning, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and equipment longevity.
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance strategies.
    • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and production standards.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the preventive maintenance team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Project Management
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of maintenance projects.
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Process Optimization
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance.
    • Utilize data analysis to drive decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
    • Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.
  • Budget Management
    • Develop and manage the preventive maintenance budget.
    • Optimize resource allocation and cost-efficiency.
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities and outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, procedures, and performance metrics.
       

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems and automation equipment.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and automation technologies.
  • Experience in a similar industry or manufacturing environment advantageous.
