About your role
- To take responsibility to manage NPD, Renewal product development including Change project to meet project concept, consumer needed, quality assurance, regulation, timeline and target cost.
- To collaborate with relevant functions (Marketing, SCM, QA, Production, Other Region R&D, OEM, etc.) to move NPD project on time.
- From technical point of view, discuss concept within team, identify technical challenges and provide solutions with the support from supervisors.
- To generate idea creation from R&D to move for NPD project pipeline
What You'll Do
Formula development for NPD/ Reformulation
• Develop NPD based on the understanding, and alignment of target consumer/occasion, consumer needs, target benefit, target cost, and timeline including key milestone with NPD team
• Assess all technical risks through feasibility study and provide technical solutions by collaboration with cross function team such as NPC, QA, Production, Eng, etc.
• Evaluate/ confirm no technical issue including product stability and safety, micro, and IP infringement
• Review documents for commercialization such as ISQ, SPF/SPI, Stability report including analysis result report, Document to support FDA registration, etc.
General Role
• Accumulate knowledge/ learning in the area of product development/ raw material/ technical issues, etc.
• Transfer knowledge of all new or modified processes and product improvement to QA, production, and relevant department to ensure that products produced meet customer requirement
• Control data keeping system to ensure its well-documented and easy to reference.
• Follow company policy and all implemented standard system
Suntory Way Development
• Always Gemba and Initiate Idea creation to propose by quarter
• Discussion with various relevant functions from marketing, supply chain i.e. procurement, manufacturing, and QA to process project smoothly and meet timeline
• The frequency of complexities depends on the number of projects and difficulties
• To deliver new product as per concept without any delay.
• Number and Quality of Ideas creation initiative
• Executive can propose NPD development process step and product details such as formula / process / spec / regulation / timeline etc
• Propose new NPD ideas in idea creation activity.
What's in it for you
