You know how to activate a brand in the channel, the way to distribution and have a hunger to learn all about brand and even sales management and ready to raise the bar. 
 

YOUR ROLE

As Brand Manager, based in Casablanca, you are part of the wider Marketing Team where we cover many countries in Europe the Caribbean and countries in Africa. In this role as Brand Manager you will play an instrumental role in translating the global Lead Brands plans for Orangina into compelling country level Brand Plans for Morocco, Tunisia, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and some other adjacent territories. 
You work in close collaboration with the International Strategy & Innovation team as well as with the local & international commercial, Route To Market and Revenue Growth Management- team, addressing each market’s specificities and impacting the consumer journey.
As Market Activation, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies and programs aimed at driving sales and brand awareness/penetration within the trade channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop initiatives that enhance product visibility, engage trade partners, and ultimately increase market share and revenue. Your role will involve analysing market trends, identifying opportunities, and implementing promotional activities to maximize the brand's presence in retail and distribution channel.
 

REQUIREMENTS

-    Proven experience in brand & trade marketing, preferably in a consumer goods or retail industry.
-    Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth.
-    Strong commercial affinity or first commercial experience’ is an extra asset 
-    Openness to evolve from marketing to sales; openness to rotate geographically is an extra asset
-    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market research to drive actionable insights.
-    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with trade partners and internal stakeholders.
-    Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
-    Knowledge of retail and distribution channels, trade marketing techniques, and merchandising strategies.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

•    Strategy Deployment: Leverage the country brand strategies and develop implementable local consumer led growth plans, based on local consumer insight. This implies setting up media & activation campaigns; developing product launch plans for innovation;
•    Financial follow up: You’re responsible for A&P/marketing budget; ensuring leveraging the appropriate budget allocation towards the priorities as well as close budget follow up.
•    Trade Activation: Design and execute marketing programs, promotions, and initiatives to stimulate demand, enhance brand visibility, and drive product sales through trade channels.
•    Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the sales team to create joint operational plans, including promotional calendars, ensuring alignment with brand goals and objectives. Energise, inspire, and lead our strategic agency partners to deliver best-in-class, consumer-led work that will meaningfully impact our local consumers.
•    Channel Partner Management: Build strong relationships with key trade partners, distributors, and retailers, providing them with marketing support and product training. Develop and execute bold & best in class consumer / shopper engagement initiatives
•    Merchandising and POS Materials: Develop effective point-of-sale (POS) materials, displays, and merchandising solutions to enhance product visibility, attract consumers' attention, and drive sales at the point of purchase.
•    Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive insights, leveraging this information to develop actionable recommendations for the brand's trade marketing activities.
•    Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing programs, tracking performance, and providing regular reports and insights to management.
•    Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in trade marketing, applying this knowledge to improve strategies, processes, and results.
