We are opening a brand-new World Class facility in Swanbank, Ipswich to produce our new multi-beverage portfolio of drinks.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing, producing and distributing our vast range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products.  You will be utilising brand-new world-class equipment, in a state of the art and industry 4.0 Greenfield facility!

The Opportunity

Lead the state transport and export team to manage the execution of Network Logistics processes to ensure optimal customer service and cost. With two direct reports, you will work with these individuals on both day-to-day management and ensuring their role and career and capability development.

We’re creating something new and world-class and this role offers a unique opportunity  to join the business before our go-live date, you will be a part of the team responsible for designing & embedding process as we move toward our go-live date.

 

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Deliver customer service excellence through the coordination of planning and delivery excellence
  • Relationship management of key supply chain partners (customers, suppliers and service providers to deliver maximum value – win/win outcomes
  • Develop and maintain a productive, customer oriented relationships with Operations teams and Commercial stakeholders in each state
  • Work jointly with Commercial operations, DC’s, Transport Carriers & Service providers to maximise service efficiency
  • Manage the cost centre for function and achieve set budgeted targets
  • Maintain and build a continuous improvement approach for your site and the broader National Transport network.

What’s in your toolkit?

  • A demonstrated career track record in an FMCG planning, warehousing and distribution environment
  • Previous experience in management of customer/supplier relationships in an FMCG environment
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills – at all levels
  • An experienced people manager who can coach, mentor and develop their team
  • Experience with continuous improvement programs, eg Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience with SAP in supply chain activities
