The Opportunity
As the Raw Materials Coordinator you will coordinate and continuously Improve our manufacturing raw material supply performance, working with vendors, Supply Planning & Procurement to ensure the reliable and timely supply of raw materials.
In our brand-new greenfield site with state-of-the-art equipment and ways of working you will champion continuous improvement Safety, Quality, Efficiency, leveraging Best Practice as the basis for everything that we do.
What you’ll be doing:
You will take ownership of the following:
- Support the timely and accurate receipt, storage & supply of Raw Materials & Packaging products to our Manufacturing processes in accordance with our Manufacturing Plan.
- Liaise with suppliers to coordinate delivery schedules of raw materials.
- Timely escalation of material supply risks impacting the site to internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining systems to ensure SAP ordering and inventory integrity.
- Layout planning and management of raw materials to optimise delivery to lines.
- Facilitate implementation of change initiatives.
Are you up for it?
We’re looking for someone who is outcome and customer focused with a can-do attitude, demonstrating experience in the following:
- Relevant experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing industry
- Relevant higher education or industry certificate
- SAP or similar WMS application skillset (SAP highly regarded)
- Sound Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
- Excellent communication, and prioritization skills
