We are opening a brand-new World Class facility in Swanbank, Ipswich to produce our new multi-beverage portfolio of drinks.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing and producing our vast range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products. You will be utilising brand-new world-class equipment, in a state of the art and industry 4.0 Greenfield facility!

 

The Opportunity

The role of Process Lead (Packaging) is to champion the Continuous Improvement of our Manufacturing processes, systems, procedures and workflows to drive improved performance in Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Environment to ensure that we are meeting the requirements of the business in the short, medium and long term.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support and enable the performance improvement and capability of our Manufacturing Teams, through the application of advanced process analysis, problem solving, procedures and documentation to deliver, implement and validate data driven process improvements.
  • Coach & Mentor our Manufacturing Teams process capability towards our goal of Autonomous operations.
  • Optimise the performance of various Beverage processes and high-speed Automated Packaging Equipment to execute our daily / weekly / monthly targets in accordance with our Manufacturing Plan, including all deliverables and improvement initiatives to target KPI’s.
  • Champion the “All for the Quality” mindset, ensure we meet and exceed all Quality requirements of our processes.
  • Ensure all Process Improvements consider and comply with all relevant Safety, Regulatory, Food safety, GMP and HACCP requirements.
  • Manage Process Improvement Initiative costs to budget.
  • Facilitate implementation of change initiatives.
  • Support the Manufacturing Team in the execution of our Manufacturing Plan, including all daily / weekly / monthly deliverables and improvement initiatives to target KPI’s.

What’s in your toolkit?

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Process) or relevant industry experience
  • Experience gained from an FMCG beverage manufacturing or relevant highly regulated industry in a Process or Improvement Engineering role
  • Excellent knowledge of Process Technology, with the ability to work on a variety of critical plant and processing systems
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing process technology improvement initiatives
  • Strong Lean manufacturing industry experience utilizing six sigma concepts and tools
  • Experience Training and Mentoring team members
  • Great interpersonal, Influencing and communication skills
  • Experienced in Manufacturing change management
