We are opening a brand-new World Class facility in Swanbank, Ipswich to produce our new multi-beverage portfolio of drinks.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing, producing and distributing our vast range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products.  You will be utilising brand-new world-class equipment, in a state of the art and industry 4.0 Greenfield facility!

The Opportunity

Your new role as Pallet Coordinator forms an important part of our Logistics team at our Swanbank Distribution Centre. The primary focus of this role is to effectively management product returns and the management and transfer of pallets across our Distribution network.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity  to join the business as we move toward our go-live date and be part of our founding operations team.

 

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Establish and maintain pallet pool management process across the site including:-
  • Manufacturing requirements
  • Transport and customer transfers
  • DC to DC transfers
  • Conducting weekly pallet stock takes across the Swanbank site and related offsite locations
  • Attend regular pallet management performance reviews with approved pallet providers
  • Maintain accurate pallet records to ensure accuracy of relevant accounts within the agreed KPI
  • Ensure rejection and mismatched records for pallet transfers are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Work effectively with our transport teams to ensure returns are actioned and accounted for in a timely manner
  • Maintain regular communication and review with pallet providers to ensure that system records are aligned & accurate.
  • Support key projects for the site

What’s in your toolkit?

  • A demonstrated career track record in an Inventory Control role within a medium to large organization, FMCG industry is preferred.
  • Strong SAP knowledge including SAP based warehouse management systems including SAP APO
  • An excellent understanding of the pool pallet management process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills – at all levels
  • A self-starter who can work pro-actively to ensure the availability of pallets across our network, solving problems as they arise and work as part of a team to support our operations.
