We are opening a brand-new World Class facility in Swanbank, Ipswich to produce our new multi-beverage portfolio of drinks.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing and producing vast range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products.  You will be utilising brand-new world-class equipment, in a state of the art and industry 4.0 Greenfield facility!

The Opportunity

Forming a part of our Quality team, the role of New Product Development (NPD) Coordinator plays a key role working with both our Research & Development and Supply Chain teams to ensure we can continue to deliver the best outcomes for our new product innovations for our customers and consumers.

Our innovation pipeline is strong and this position will play a key role in realising their potential!

What you'll be doing

• Maintain effective communication of the New Product Innovation pipeline, project progress and risks with the site leadership team and all project stakeholders
• Partner with our Manufacturing Teams to drive NPD improvement initiatives through the application of process and equipment validation, problem solving, procedures and documentation to deliver, implement change
• Ensure any new liquid or packaging introduction, or changes to existing, are fully validated. Traceable and auditable validation records to be maintained.
• Work closely with operational and service function teams to ensure risk assessments on NPD activities are undertaken early and managed through the Gate system.
• Lead the Manufacturing Team in the execution of our NPD Plan, including all daily / weekly / monthly deliverables and improvement initiatives to target KPI’s.
• Develop detailed timelines to identify key tasks, milestones, and deliverables for NPI, industrialisation and value optimisation projects to meet all Booked Order Dates.
• To identify and escalate any risks associated with NPI projects and to develop & communicate mitigation plans.

What’s in your toolkit?

• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Science or relevant industry experience
• 3+ years’ experience in FMCG beverage manufacturing or relevant highly regulated industry in a Process or Improvement Engineering role
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Validation Processes couple with an ability to work on a variety of critical plant and processing systems.
• Strong Lean manufacturing industry experience utilizing six sigma concepts and tools.
• Great interpersonal, Influencing and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving complex problems.
• Excellent computer IS literacy / capability Incl. ERP & Scada experience.
• Outcome focused with a strong Positive Can-do Attitude
• Excellent Learning Agility
