We are opening a brand-new World Class facility in Swanbank, Ipswich to produce our new multi-beverage portfolio of drinks.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing, producing and distributing our vast range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products.  You will be utilising brand-new world-class equipment, in a state of the art and industry 4.0 Greenfield facility!

The Opportunity

Forming a part of our Logistics team, the Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring the finished goods warehouse inventory is accurate for all warehouse sites, including off-site locations.

 

We’re creating something new and world-class and this role offers a unique opportunity  to join the business before our go-live date, you will be a part of the team responsible for designing & embedding process as we move toward our go-live date.

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Oversee supply forecast and plan for inventory placement (offsite storage needs)
  • Develop and lead the inventory policy at site level
  • Lead and coordinate all Logistic site audits
  • Develop and build reporting to track stock and provide insight into stock availability
  • Build and lead the inventory processes in alignment with alcohol management for a bonded facility
  • Ensure compliance with Customs & Excise requirements (where relevant)
  • Control product withdrawals/recall activities
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure continuity of product quality/supply
  • Support the import and export requirements for the site
  • Lead, mentor and develop one direct report – Inventory Controller
  • Support role for key projects for the site

What’s in your toolkit?

  • A demonstrated career track record in Inventory Control role within a medium to large sized organization, FMCG is preferred
  • A working knowledge of inventory management, principles and optimization methods, warehouse operations and MHE materials handling equipment
  • Strong SAP knowledge including SAP based warehouse management systems including APO module
  • Strong, clear written & verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • An experienced people manager who can coach, mentor and develop direct reports
