The Opportunity

The Inventory Controller will be responsible for ensuring that the finished goods warehouse inventory is accurate for all warehouse sites. This will involve monitoring and controlling the financial accuracy of stock on hand using SAP to ensure sales & order data integrity as well as supporting with import requirements. As a member of the logistic team, you will be an active participant in site leadership in alignment with our culture.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Plan for inventory placement in accordance to supply forecasts.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure all controllable inventory measures and practices are adhered to, to ensure supply.
  • Develop and build reporting to track stock and provide stock insight
  • Lead inventory at a site level by establishing and implementing inventory routine
  • Monitor compliance activities
  • Maintain & adhere to the inventory processes in alignment with alcohol management for a bonded facility
  • Support key projects for the site

Experience that you will bring

As well as a positive can-do attitude you will demonstrate the following:

  • A background in an Inventory Control role within a medium to large size organization (FMCG preferred).
  • Understanding of inventory management principles and optimization methods
  • Understanding of warehouse operations activities and MHE materials handling equipment
  • Strong SAP knowledge including SAP based warehouse management systems & SAP APO knowledge
  • Relevant qualification (Diploma or Certificate IV in accounting or related business discipline) (highly desirable)
  • Strong computer skills including Excel and other MS Office suites
