The role of HSW Senior Business Partner - Supply Chain (Australia) will join us at an exciting time as we will soon open our state-of-the-art Manufacturing facility in Swanbank, Queensland.  Based at Swanbank the role of HSW Senior Business Partner is to business partner and provide direction to our Supply Chain leadership in Australia, and Logistics leadership for AU/NZ - including functional strategy and initiatives, advice, mentoring, best practice and challenging the status quo to drive better performance.  You'll set the HSW foundations and support the integration of safe behaviours and practices from the start!

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Partner with the Senior Functional Supply Chain Leaders in the development and implementation of plans that align with the Frucor Suntory HSW strategy and annual plan
  • Provide a high standard of strategic and operational best practice Health, Safety & Wellbeing guidance, interpretation and application of policies, systems and practice in support of business strategy and engagement
  • Ensure compliance with the health & safety legislation and advising leaders on the new legislative requirements
  • Development of best practice safety culture within the Supply Chain & Logistics functions
  • Conduct safety walks around the Manufacturing and Distribution Centre with leaders, highlighting any potential risks or opportunity areas for them to work on
  • Active contributor to the Supply Chain & Logistics Health, Safety & Wellbeing committee meetings, coaching and enabling HSR's across the operation to be effective in their roles
  • Coaching leaders to ensure H&S investigations are completed to ta professional standard, identifying root cause and ensuring the completion of corrective actions
  • Timely reporting and analysis of Supply Chain & Logistics HSW metrics
  • Working with the function to identify appropriate actions to address any gaps in performance
  • Leading risk assessment workshops as required and providing well researched and considered advice on the management of hazards and risks
  • Management of one HSW Specialist for Logistics AU

What's in your toolkit*?

With relevant tertiary qualifications, we’re looking for an individual with a strong track record of success in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.  Our employees will be working with large scale machinery and in some areas hazardous materials – experience in these areas is highly advantageous.  You will have strong business partnering skills to build strong relationships, with the ability to influence and mentor others in the area of HSW to drive great outcomes.  With a demonstrated ability to create HSW tools and resources to build HSW literacy and capability.  This isn’t a purely desk based role, it will require time spent in the manufacturing and distribution centres both for visibility and to ensure you have a working knowledge of both facilities to drive better HSW outcomes. You will have a sound working knowledge of contractor management and safe work systems. But most of all you will be passionate about ensuring that people go home to their families and friends, safe and well everyday!
