We are opening a brand-new World Class facility in Swanbank, Ipswich to produce our new multi-beverage portfolio of drinks.

This exciting opportunity offers a chance to be a part of developing, producing and distributing our vast range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage products.  You will be utilising brand-new world-class equipment, in a state of the art and industry 4.0 Greenfield facility!

The Opportunity

Forming a part of our Logistics team, the role of Flow & Automation Lead is to provide technical support of the ASRS, the SAP processes and optimisation of our Swanbank Distribution Centre on a daily basis. You will ensure that the inbound and outbound inventory functions within a technical ASRS and traditional (racked/blocked stacked) environment is completed to ensure appropriate inventory control and customer service.

 

We’re creating something new and world-class and this role offers a unique opportunity  to join the business before our go-live date, you will be a part of the team responsible for designing & embedding process and technical understanding of our automated machinery as we move toward our go-live date.

 

Key responsibilities will include:-

  • Subject matter expert of system processes and pallet flow throughput
  • Optimisation of system activity to manage both bulk & route loads
  • Key contact and support for system related issues, including trouble shooting
  • Maintenance of system data
  • Planning & executing the ASRS operational flow for the DC
  • Detailed understanding of system processes and process governance
  • Analyse cost saving ideas to ensure focus is put in the right areas for savings to be realised
  • Analysis of improvement areas within the ASRS to provide input on system improvements
  • Lead, mentor and develop two direct reports
  • Support key projects for the site

 

What’s in your toolkit?

  • A demonstrated career track record in analytical/system governance role
  • High level of attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • A working understanding of warehouse/manufacturing operations, in particular automated warehouse operation activities
  • A strong analytical ability
  • SAP knowledge in an FMCG warehouse environment
  • Strong, clear written & verbal communication skills
  • An experienced people manager who can coach, mentor and develop direct reports
