Route Engineer

About your role

Strengthen distributor process of Route plan management and optimize cost of delivery through technology of territory planner and dynamic dispatching of Route planning tools which will drive the efficiency and effectiveness of distributor model to ensure sustained distributor profitability.

What You'll Do

Route efficiency improvement

  • Develop Standard Route plan which compliance with Route efficienncy principle and Conduct rerouting per cycle to collect and process operative data and constrains as inputs for routing solutions
  • Driving governance on route compliance through route KPIs; active outlet, outlets/route, outlets/day
  • Deliver the daily route plan for last-mile delivery routes and regularly update route plan in system for all distributors
  • Educate ASM and RS to understand and capable to improve their Route efficiency and support Route suggestion file
  • Hold expertise in the use of routing tool to build optimal route plans based on requirements and subject to operation constrains.
  • Collaborate with distributors and interact with frontline sales and operations teams on a daily basis to ensure routing KPI

Route plan operation and dashboard

  • Monthly monitor, Fix, and, upload Route plan (of next month)
  • Develop and monitor Route Efficiency report
  • Collect and process operative data, resources and constrains as inputs for routing solutions
  • Train and develop the logistic team of AS&D to ensure capability and usage of system

What's in it for you

  • At least 3-4 years’ experience in Supervisor with GT in FMCG.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skillsGood quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft office especially in Excel 
  • Fair command of written and spoken English
  • Mobility (Travelling 35-50%)
  • Able to function in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • Able to work independently, but within a team environment.
