Regulatory Affairs Manager

About your role

Lead the regulatory strategy, organization and guidance for the new product developments. Responsible for product compliance and product registration including advertisement and FDA licensing while ensuring successful product registrations, compliance, and regulatory risk management. Develop and expand network to relevant government authorities and external stakeholders to support business continuity.

What You'll Do

Regulatory Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead regulatory strategy for product launches, reformulations, and lifecycle management.
  • Influence local plus Indochina regulations according to scientific information for business needs and contribute to innovation projects by bringing regulatory expertise to the Development Project team.
  • Lead and drive Regulatory Affairs category and Indochina team performance to deliver effective work quality.

Product Registration & Licensing Management
•  Supervise registration processes and ensure timely approvals across multiple jurisdictions.
•  Register product and product amendments, manufacturing permits, and import permits.
•  Handle product registration, amendments, and licensing applications with regulatory authorities.
•  Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance in assigned product categories.
•  Support internal audits and ensure documentation compliance.

Cross Functional Regulatory Support
•  Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Quality, Legal) to guide compliant product development.
•  Provide strategic regulatory and claim advice to MKT, QA, PD, PCM, and other related departments.
•  Support regulation advice on new product development and reformulation including raw material compliance.
•  Provide regulatory support and recommendations during product and claim development and launch processes.

Regulatory Affairs & External Stakeholder Engagement (Thailand and Indochina)
•  Serve as key liaison with government authorities and regulatory bodies (FDA and relevant bureaus).
•  Develop and enhance relationships with governmental officials to resolve emergent issues.
•  Build working relationships with regulatory agencies to facilitate approvals and resolve issues.
•  Represent the company in external meetings with industries and government organizations related to product registration and compliance.
•  Communicate information on regulatory issues, regulatory issue management, public policy, and regulatory news.

Advertising, Claims, and Labeling Compliance
•  Review and approve packaging artwork, advertising, and labels to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
•  Screen and advice on advertising and claim communication for the commercial team.

Regulatory Intelligence, Training, & Documentation
•  Provide regulatory updates on regulations affecting product groups.
•  Provide training and interpret legislation when required.

What's in it for you

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the FMCG, food&beverage or health enrichment industry.
  • Good understanding of FDA regulations and labeling requirements.
  • Experience reviewing packaging and advertising materials for compliance.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
