Suntory Beverage & Food Thailand Co., Ltd. (SBFT) was established in 1974 when the first factory opened in Nonthaburi Province and expanded production capacity to support the rapid growth and demand for products in the market by building new factories at Laem Chabang Industrial Estate and Pinthong Industrial Estate in Chonburi Province. In 1990, the company became as part of the Suntory Group, which invested heavily in manufacturing technology and brought its own history of innovating healthy beverage, food and supplement products, and bringing them successfully to market.

 

Thailand is now the regional production center for not only Essence of Chicken, but also other health products in the BRAND’S Suntory portfolio, including Bird’s Nest and Veta/InnerShine. Currently, 350 million bottles are produced annually for export to 19 countries. 

 

The purpose of the role Payroll & Mobility Lead is to
•    Deliver accurate, timely and compliance payroll, benefits administration as well as non-Thai payroll and taxation, time management services with global governance standard with local regulatory requirement.
•    Supervise overall mobility services including all report related with payroll for non-Thai employees as well as advise team member for related matters.

 

This role is based in Bangkok, Thailand. 

Job Responsibilities

The role will be responsible for the following

 

•    Manage and lead team in end-to-end process of payroll & benefits administration and leave & time management in timely manner as well as vendors’ performance management
•    Take responsibility for managing and completing requests to provide high-quality service to employees, stakeholders and colleagues for payroll and benefits related matters
•    Develop key-user guides for frequent questions on payroll & benefit administration and mobility to support employees and stakeholders.
•    Responsible for issue solving and find root cause analysis of any payroll error as well as find preventive measures
•    Make sure company policies and practices comply with Labor Law
•    Lead payroll implementation when there is a new module is needed or required.
•    Lead team and coach team for best employee experience
•    Contributes to the development of People & Culture Service knowledge database with focus on payroll & benefits.
•    Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and developing opportunities and solutions for each area.
•    Act as payroll & benefit subject expert person for team members and has ability to make process simplification recommendations where necessary.
•    Other special assignments as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher preferred in business related field
  • Experience in managing payroll team and leadership
  • Experience in managing, delivering payroll, payroll governance & benefit administration
  • High level of initiative and work independently.
  • Possesses knowledge of mobility (manage international assignee taxation)
  • Logical and structural thinking style with integrity
  • Fluency in English is required
