Omnichannel E-Commerce Media & Strategy Senior Manager

About your role

This role focuses on developing and executing performance media strategies for Marketplaces, Click & Mortar, .Com and emerging channels, aligning with the brand’s overall strategy and health enrichment goals. This also includes collaborating with the sales channel, marketing and other cross functional teams.

What You'll Do

  • Overall Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Media Strategy development focusing on Marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop), Click & Mortar (all retailer online platforms), .Com and other emerging channels such as Mart, Social Commerce etc.
  • Lead strategic discussions on incremental GMV growth, cost optimization, team structures, business models, P&L with senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Key Account Sales & eCommerce enabler teams on robust media planning alongside revenue targets, promo calendar, SKU priorities & Platform Campaigns
  • Collaborate with the brand teams to understand key consumer audiences, category dynamics, key brand positoning and messaging to incorporate them into eCommerce media strategies
  • Integrate the brand proposition and collborate with ATL media team to drive full funnel media strategies incl. 1P data to maximize collaboration and integration between ATL & BTL
  • Lead on and off platform audience strategy and targeting, retargeting & lookalike strategies
  • Meet ROAS/POAS targets on all online channels (including .COM) to meet overall eCommerce revenue and profitability targets
  • Scale up .Com revenue as per defined targets and integrate .Com into the overall digital ecosystem
  • Media Planning and Execution:
  • Ensure timely and cost effective media planning and execution incl. effective D-Day/Campaign planning
  • Drive commerce KPIs (GMV, ROAS, AOV, CVR, share of shelf, efficiency) within overall performance media strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify incremental growth opportunities through new media pilots, live commerce opportunities, retail media networks, omnichannel execution, and full-funnel approaches.
  • Work with external media partners (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok) to set up Joint Business Plans (JBPs) in collaboration with the regional and the BU media team.
  • Work with marketplace (Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop) and retail partners (e.g., Lotus, Big C, Makro, 7-Eleven, Tops, Line etc.) to drive JBP discussions in collaboration with the sales teams
  • Media Audit and Optimization:
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for media audits and develop action plans based on audit findings.
  • Review media performance and KPIs to optimize and enhance media efficiency & effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous optimization using insights from marketplace dashboards, retail media reporting and performance analytics.
  • Agency Management:
  • Hold media agencies accountable for tasks such as omni channel planning, integrated online media plans, audience targets, reach optimization, and ROAS/POAS achievements
  • Budget Management:
  • Allocate budgets across different media channels based on their potential ROI.
  • Negotiate and purchase ad space or time on selected media channels.
  • Content Management:
  • Lead in-house content team to create campaign and eCommerce platform content in collaboration with respctive channel teams
  • Performance Media KPI Framework:
  • Develp a robust playbook of performance media KPI framework to drive performance uplift 

 

What's in it for you

What You need to be successful

  • 8-10 years of experience in media planning, digital commerce, retail media, or performance marketing
  • Proven track record of integrating e-commerce, retail media into media strategy and buying, preferably in the FMCG Vertical
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Brand.com and their media and retail ecosystems
  • Extensive experience with both traditional and digital media channels.
  • Experience in health and wellness marketing is highly desirable.
  • Skills:

  • Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools
