New Products & Change Management Manager, Health Enrichment

Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to handle and deliver the commercialization of new Suntory products within the SBFA territory, aiming to expand the SBFA business. It serves as a crucial link between the marketing team and the technical/manufacturing team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. The role involves reacting to and managing changes for Suntory products promptly to meet the business needs of the BU.

 

Additionally, it acts as a bridge between the Local BU and the Regional team on Change Management projects, conducting change analysis, risk and impact assessments, and developing and supporting effective change plans. The role also includes working with the supply chain BU to find sourcing units both in-house and OEM, supporting new product development (NPD) and business continuity planning (BCP) for existing products.

Job Responsibilities

Product innovation/line extensions, geographic / channel penetration, new formats in line with business strategy

  •  Representing supply chain in New Product Development (NPD) process from project releases phase until successful ramp up completion. 
  • Work with marketing team in developing technical relevant timeline from line, packaging feasibility assessment / trial or other relevant and ensuring launch timeline is aligned before and achieved once progress.
  • Cross functional (Regional Technical Team) facilitation to develop assessment criteria, guideline case by case basis depending on product 
  • nature, formula, process, and packaging requirements. 
  • Work with supply chain BU finding and qualify sourcing unit both inhouse and OEM support NPD and BCP for existing product.
  • Take lead in NPD related technical issue trouble shooting and problem solving together with local BU / factory team / Suntory technical team. 
  •  Stakeholder managements & drive alignment to ensure smooth commercialization of product innovation on time or within re-aligned time frame. 

 

Take lead in managing commercialization of Regional Supply Chain Project Initiative. 

  •  Project milestone development and alignment among cross functional team Timeline control and monitor for end-to-end development process. 
  • Technical process management incorporate with all relevant requirements and conduct necessary line feasibility check and test run. 
  •  Manage potential bottleneck and initiate necessary steps to move forwards.
  •  Work together with Local business team for commercialization task preparation, drive for commitment and support.  

 

Change Management Project facilitation

  • Guide BU to follow Change management procedure and aligned WOW 
  • Be trainer and continue improvement change management process.
  •  Be change controller between Local BU and Regional team. Perform change initiative review, decide acceptance before escalating up to regional team for approval and assessment criteria alignment. 
  • Provide or recommend necessary testing to cover risk of change. Aligned with stakeholder to proceed execution.
  • Organize routine Change Review Meeting for status follow up. Provide support and technical advice to BU change champion whenever necessary.  
  •  Align and finalize commercial deployment plan upon approval.
  • Product Specification preparation & issuance post technical review, alignment, and approval. 
  • Update packaging material database, verify product specification info before final official document issuance. 
  • Monthly project status update (NPD, Change Management) with relevant stakeholder. 
     

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate is

  •  Good understanding for production facilities, process, quality key factors for FMCG, ideally beverage industry.
  • Have at least 5years of new product or new packaging development experiences in FMCG
  • Management of change (MOC) and Quality Management System
  • OEM or Co-packer Management & Development
  • Project Management
