About your role

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Manager, Brand Development & Future Brands to join our team at Suntory Beverage & Food Asia Pacific. At Suntory Beverage and Food, your role is vital in driving brand success and innovation to help us achieve our ambition of becoming a world-leading beverage company. You will lead new brand exploration and manage innovation projects for Suntory Oolong, C.C. Lemon, and Orangina while supporting some Ribena initiatives

What You'll Do

  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Drive seamless OTIF (On Time, In Full) execution across all initiatives.
  • Cross Market Alignment: Collaborate closely with BU and global teams to ensure strategic alignment and excellence in local execution.
  • Strategic Planning: Co lead MTP (Mid Term Plan) and AOP (Annual Operating Plan), ensuring regional direction is tailored to local needs.
  • Performance & Budget Management: Monitor brand KPI performance, sales, and brand health. Maintain disciplined control of A&M, development costs, and total brand budget.
  • Insight to Action: Lead Gemba immersions to understand Seikatsusha needs, decode market trends, and convert insights into actionable brand opportunities.
  • Innovation Pipeline Ownership: Drive concept development, manage the NPD pipeline, and ensure rigorous navigation of gate processes.
  • Cross Functional Partnership: Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to ensure feasibility, readiness, and successful launches.
  • Go to Market Leadership: Develop, refine, and execute GTM strategies aligned with regional priorities and market realities.

What You need to be successful

  • A hands-on, doer mindset with the drive to execute, deliver, and grow within the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of proven brand leadership experience at Brand Manager or equivalent level, ideally with exposure across multiple geographies.
  • Strong strategic thinking supported by strong commercial and marketing acumen.
  • Solid experience in brand marketing and project management, with a consistent track record of OTIF execution.
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding abilities and the capability to influence across crossfunctional and crossmarket teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence in engaging senior leaders, BU partners, and global teams.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to challenge norms and generate fresh ideas.
  • Willingness to travel for market visits, Gemba immersions, and business collaboration needs.
