Manager, Account Development (North Eastern/Isaan)

Job Summary

This position is responsible for managing key customers by conducting account planning,, solving issues, driving and monitoring customers’ by doing a business review performance to ensure business is on track and achieve. Do excellence in product availability, winning in in-Store visibility (BRAND's ZONE) and effectively run in Store promotion to ensure that the program criteria is well complied by customers. To strengthen and maximize Brand Performance by leading and Co-ordinating with BHA in order to Maximized in store capability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Account Planning: Lead and oversee account planning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Conduct thorough account analysis and translate data into actionable insights. Facilitate business reviews with customers, develop customized promotions, and conduct store visits to ensure strategy implementation.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Drive and monitor sales performance metrics including sales volume, display effectiveness, distribution, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). Ensure adherence to strategic objectives and tailor-made programs by store. Facilitate payment collection and manage payment timelines. Provide guidance to Business Health Analysts (BHA), conduct store checks, resolve issues, improve store performance, and escalate issues to line management when necessary.
  • Financial Management: Manage trade spend and overall profitability for key customers. Utilize sales analytics to identify growth opportunities and drive bottom-line profitability. Provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes.
  • DSO Performance Monitoring: Monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) performance of distributors. Ensure timely payments from Direct Account to Distributors or BSTT. Monitor payment terms from Direct Account Stores to Distributors or BSTT. Enforce compliance with payment timelines and return all documents to Distributors or BSTT promptly. Ensure adherence to BSTT SOPs regarding payments.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • FMCG experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude, service-minded, honest, and reliable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for coordination and collaboration.
  • Creative thinking abilities.
  • Effective team player with leadership potential.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Business-minded with a focus on profit and loss (P/L) management, ROI, and budgeting.
  • Willingness to travel to up-country areas.
