Legal Manager

About your role
The Legal Manager will provide day-to-day legal support and guidance to all internal stakeholders. This position plays a key role in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, advising on legal risks, and supporting the company's business operations by ensuring alignment with applicable laws and corporate policies.
What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents in English and Thai
- Provide legal support to all concerned departments on business-related legal matters
- Handle legal issues related to the company’s daily operations
- Manage litigation and coordinate with external legal counsel
- Identify and analyze potential legal risks and implications, and provide practical legal advice to the business
- Coordinate with the Regional Legal Team on legal matters and ensure alignment with group legal policies and procedures
- Manage and maintain the contract lifecycle by regularly enrolling signed agreements into the Contract Management System
- Monitor new laws and regulations; update and advise relevant departments accordingly
- Support administrative legal tasks and ensure proper record-keeping and legal documentation
- Represent the legal function in meetings and decision-making discussions as required
- Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the company

What You need to be successful
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Law
- A minimum experience of 8 - 10 years in a legal role in a reputable law firm or private sector company, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Ability to work and attend meetings independently with minimum supervision
- Barrister-at-law
- Possesses attorney license
- Pro-active and independent thinker; Has analytical skills and detail orientated
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; Being able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent command of the English language
