About your role
What You'll Do
Business Ownership & Delivery
- Own P&L understanding and commercial implications for assigned Modern Trade customers
- Deliver annual and monthly targets: sales volume, net revenue, trade investment, profit, and market share
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities; implement recovery or acceleration plans
Customer Strategy & Joint Business Planning (JBP)
- Define and execute customer-specific strategies aligned with company growth priorities
- Lead development, negotiation, and execution of Joint Business Plans
- Set clear KPIs and tracking mechanisms to ensure on-time, in-full delivery
- Drive category growth initiatives grounded in data, insights, and shopper understanding
Commercial Planning & Execution
- Oversee assortment, pricing, promotion planning, shelving, and in-store visibility
- Lead commercial forecasting and demand planning with cross-functional partners
- Manage trade investment effectively and optimize ROI
- Ensure flawless execution of promotional campaigns and in-store activations
Negotiation & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead annual trading terms negotiations and commercial discussions with key customers
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align priorities and deliver results
- Serve as escalation point for key commercial and operational issues
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitive activity, pricing movements, and category trends
- Translate insights into proactive strategies to protect and grow market share
- Build strong understanding of shopper behavior and retail dynamics
- Partner with Category Management to foster a customer- and category-centric mindset
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop team members with clear development plans
- Set performance objectives and conduct regular, structured reviews
- Cultivate a high-performance culture grounded in the Suntory Leadership Spirits (SLS)
What's in it for you
What You need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of experience in sales, commercial, or key account management
- Experience in FMCG or consumer goods strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic business thinking with strong analytical and project management skills
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant business tools
