Commercial Assistant Manager - IDC

About your role

This role supports commercial operations and execution across Indo-China markets i.e., Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar & Cambodia. The role holds key transformation projects planning & scheduling under the leadership of IDC Business Head and covers responsibilities on IDC-related payments, vendor master data, PR/PO issuance, and product registration support. It also reviews distributor claims and marketing expenses to ensure compliance and budget alignment.

What You'll Do

IDC Project Management

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for key transformation initiatives under the leadership of the IDC Head.
  • Coordinate and schedule regular project team meetings to track progress, identify challenges, and define next steps with clear and aligned minutes of the meetings.
  • Monitor project deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Identify risks and work with the team to ensure implementation of mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

IDC Commercial

  • Assist in developing and executing commercial plans aligned with Indochina business goals.
  • Coordinate with Demand & Supply Planning, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Analyze sales performance and provide actionable insights to improve.
  • Facilitate communication between Thailand team and local IDC teams to align objectives.’
  • Help in capturing the appropriate risks & opportunities in meeting annual targets working closely with in-market commercial leads and finance teams to maintain discipline of the business reviews.
  • Schedules & Manages the regular team & business review meetings with IDC Head and in-market commercial leads to drive the operational rhythm of the business.

 

IDC Accrual, Vendor Management and Payment Activities

  • Handle all IDC-related PR/PO and payments through the internal system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) issuance across CLMV teams.
  • Maintain and update master vendor data for CLMV markets, including vendor profiles, documentation, BNI processes, and resolution of PR/PO/invoice discrepancies.
  • Prepare required documentation and product samples for IDC product registration processes.
  • Review and validate distributor claims from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Verify marketing-related expenses submitted by all four markets, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and campaign objectives.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill
  • Strong planning and analytical skill
  • Good agility and flexibility
  • High attention to details
  • Fluent in both English reading and writing
  • Strong collaboration skills and is comfortable with the agile ways of working
  • Has Strong follow-through skills
  • Performance oriented and Disciplined with self-leadership
  • Open to travel regularly in Indo-China markets for effective execution of the role, as required
  • Willingness to learn – this role will learn directly from IDC Head and so suited for someone who would want to become a commercial leader in his/her career
