Associate Director, Revenue Management - TT

Job Summary:

Develop and drive revenue management action plans in Traditional Trade channel (PVS/LKA/EAT), aligning with SPBT revenue management strategy and provide recommendations to drive RGM growth algorithm by managing Trade Promotions and R&C, through closely working with cross function teams. Furthermore, support Senior Revenue Management Manager on delivering transformation agenda.

Job responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Define RGM Strategy: Lead Traditional Trade (TT) strategy, setting guardrails for promotions, margins, and discounts to hit revenue and profit targets.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align activation plans with Revenue Management (RM) objectives.

  • RGM Council Lead: Head the TT trade promotion council; track initiatives, pilot results, and share best practices across regions.

  • Capability Building: Drive RGM upskilling and training across the TT commercial function and develop new analytical tools.

Trade Spend & Promotion Optimization

  • Investment Planning: Manage the R&C (Rebate & Commission) spending plan and MTP roadmap to maximize investment priorities and channel opportunities.

  • Promotion Design: Jointly lead data-driven promotion design (by pack, SKU, and region) with Trade Marketing to optimize ROI while staying within budget.

  • Pricing Governance: Monitor inter-channel pricing and competitor activities to ensure market governance and minimize cross-channel conflict.

  • Budget Management: Oversee monthly trade budgets and accruals, ensuring all spend aligns with the Schedule of Authority (SoA).

Channel & Mix Management

  • Sub-Channel Growth: Collaborate with TT Heads and Regional Sales Managers to develop tailored investment strategies based on growth potential and competitor behavior.

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze volume/share trends and use AI/ML scenario planning to identify risks and improve spend effectiveness.

  • Mix Optimization: Execute portfolio mix strategies to improve Net Revenue and Variable Contribution (VC) targets across sub-channels.

 

Skills and Experience:

•       University graduate in Management or related fields

•       Proven strong management skills to prioritize and make tough project management on projects

•       Strong in collaboration, influencing and advisory skill to work with across SPBT team

•       Experience of driving change initiatives

•       Strong analytical skill and strategic thinking

•       Good command of written and spoken English
