Role Purpose

The Associate Director, People & Culture Business Partner Supply Chain is a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the people agenda across SPBT’s end‑to‑end supply chain. This role serves as the principal advisor to the SVP Supply Chain and Supply Chain Leadership Team, ensuring that talent, culture, organisational effectiveness, and capability strategies enable a resilient, high‑performing, and future‑ready supply chain network.

Operating at the intersection of business strategy, operational excellence, and human capital leadership, the Associate Director, P&C partners closely with regional and market P&C teams to harmonise global standards while enabling local agility. The role is pivotal in strengthening the SPBT’s competitive advantage through world‑class manufacturing, logistics, quality, engineering, safety and sustainability talent

What You'll Do

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary People & Culture advisor to the SPBT Supply Chain organisation, influencing strategic decisions with data‑driven insights and organisational foresight.

  • Translate global business priorities into a coherent people strategy that accelerates productivity, digital transformation, operational resilience, and cost competitiveness.

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape long‑term workforce planning, capability development, and organisational design for a complex, multi‑market supply chain ecosystem.

Talent, Leadership, and Capability Development

  • Build a robust global talent pipeline for critical supply chain roles, including plant leadership, engineering, quality, safety and sustainability.

  • Lead succession planning, leadership development, and executive coaching for senior supply chain leaders.

  • Drive capability uplift in areas such as lean manufacturing, automation, digital supply chain, advanced analytics, and sustainability.

Culture, Engagement, and Change Leadership

  • Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, and empowerment across all supply chain sites.

  • Lead cultural transformation initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion, and operational excellence.

  • Serve as a trusted change leader for global transformation programmes, including network optimisation, digitalisation, and sustainability transitions.

Organisational Effectiveness and Operating Model Design

  • Shape and refine the SPBT supply chain operating model to ensure clarity of roles, governance, decision rights, and cross‑functional ways of working.

  • Partner with Finance and Operations to optimise organisational structures for efficiency, agility, and long‑term scalability.

  • Drive harmonisation of global P&C processes, policies, and standards across manufacturing and logistics operations.

Workforce Strategy, Employee Relations, and Risk Management

  • Oversee global workforce strategy, including labour planning, capability mapping, and future‑skills readiness.

  • Provide strategic oversight on employee relations, labour relations, and compliance across diverse regulatory environments.

  • Anticipate and mitigate people‑related risks, ensuring business continuity and operational resilience.

Global Collaboration and Stakeholder Influence

  • Work closely with regional and market P&C leaders to ensure alignment between global strategy and local execution.

  • Influence senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Sustainability, and Corporate Affairs to embed people‑centric decision‑making.

  • Represent the Supply Chain P&C agenda at SPBT leadership forums and cross‑functional steering committees.

What You need to be successful

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant exposure to large‑scale supply chain, manufacturing, or operations environments.

  • Proven track record as a strategic business partner to C‑suite or senior operational leaders in multinational organisations.

  • Deep expertise in organisational design, talent strategy, leadership development, and cultural transformation.

  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed global environments with diverse regulatory and labour landscapes.

  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Demonstrated capability in leading change, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving enterprise‑wide initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in HR, Business, Organisational Psychology, or related field preferred.

  • Willingness and ability to commute regularly between the Bangkok Head Office and two factory sites (Rayong & Saraburi) ; comfortable with frequent multi‑location presence as an inherent requirement of the role.
