Assistant Manager, Shopper Insight

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Shopper Insight will be assisting Senior Manager – Commercial Insight on delivering Consumer Insight that creates value to help deliver Brand’s Suntory business growth. He/she will be responsible for Category Dashboard and KPIs for Management and be a Consumer Champion for Brand Health Tracking across PGAs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with market measurement Research agencies (Brand Health Tracking, Out of Home Panel, Retail Data, Consumer Media View), enable high quality data and report delivery for fact-based business tracking. 
  • Manage & build partnership with Research Agencies to help maximize business value.
  • Publish monthly market reports/dashboards with key trend and commentary.  Evaluate category/brands performance against market trends, market growth and share performance.
  • Develop Dashboard and KPIs for Management.
  • Support Category team by providing issue-based analysis conducted to help identify potential risk or opportunities for category / brands. 
  • Support the consolidation and standardization of data and design of impactful reports/scorecard to inform decision-making.
  • Track and facilitate New Product Initiative by working with cross functional team to ensure timeline launch of new product.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years of consumer market research, business intelligence and analytic experience in FMCG industry.
  • Practical experience of leading Research Projects / Project management.
  • Numeric, analytical and detailed-oriented.
  • Experienced in leveraging syndicated services (Nielsen Retail Index, Kantar Panel and Equity tracking).
  • Excellent English Communication skills both spoken and written with good computer literacy.
  • Strong analytical skills and software skills, including Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
  • Positive, active, energetic, result driven and easily to adapt to changes.
