Assistant Category Management & Shopper Insight Manager

Job Summary

To develop categories strategy for assigned channel by leveraging deep understanding of shopper behavior and market trend to bring category & shopper insights solutions to our retail customers, including creating Perfect Store guideline with best in class in-store shopper communications at relevant path to purchase according to shopper insight data. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze category challenges, translating them into targeted business questions for resolution through primary research and data analytics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in business analytics with a solid understanding of key retail and shopper metrics.
  • Lead data collection and synthesis from diverse sources—including surveys, focus groups, shopper insights, and sales data—to generate actionable insights and compile findings for business partners and executive teams.
  • Develop and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), ensuring alignment with the Perfect Store concept for each category within the assigned channel.
  • Responsible for building collaborative work with Category/Channel/Account Teams to better understand in-store solution needs & strategies to grow the total category and enable Suntory to maximize our potential with assigned key customers. 
  • Responsible for realizing Perfect Store guideline for the category/subcategory in each channel & key customers.                                                                                                             
  • Accountable and Responsible for delivering & continuously seeking to improve Perfect Store for Suntory categories and brand based on evaluations.                                                               
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to all company principles, policies, trade terms, safety and local regulations.
