Area Sales Manager - Southern

About your role

This position is responsible for managing distributor business in the assigned sales territories by building business partnership with distributors to achieve profitable growth both to the company and distributors, providing training and coaching distributors’ sales force to equip in market with professionalism and ability to manage existing stores and develop new stores, conducting business plan and business review with distributors mainly in terms of numeric distribution, sales performance and distributor operation. Do a basic analysis of sales data and providing recommendations to distributors to drive business results and maintain business advantage in the market. 

What You'll Do

Drive Distributor Sell-In
- Collaborate with distributors, Credit, and Pre-Sale teams to boost sales, expand indirect store presence, generate demand, and ensure sustainable growth.

Optimize Sales Team Sell-Out
- Monitor sales performance (sell-in and off-take), drive broad and deep distribution, strategically manage top credit accounts, and explore new sales channels based on territory insights.


Enhance Distributor Operations
- Advise on improvements in warehouse, inventory, customer service, and accounting. 
Provide system support (invoicing, reporting, data) and facilitate communication between BSTT and distributors.

Develop Sales Capabilities
- Coach and train distributor sales teams to enhance professionalism and selling skills. Develop Route Supervisors for effective territory routing and store coverage. 
- Monitor payment collection and manage key reports (order processing, scorecards).
- Recommend "In Store Excellent Execution" strategies.

Manage Distributor DSO
- Ensure timely payments from distributors to BSTT. 
- Monitor indirect store payments to distributors for compliance, and oversee pre-sales check deposits from indirect stores.\


Provide Initial Setup and Support
- Establish distributor operations and teams during launch, offering training and in-field coaching for Route Supervisors and Sales Representatives.

General Duties
- Adhere to company regulations and standard systems, and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.

What You need to be successful

- FMCG experienced will be an advantage  

- Positive attitude, Service mind, Honest and Reliable, Good co-ordination personality, Creative thinking  

- Good co-ordination in team work, Team leader skill is advantage  

- Problem solving skill, good analytical skill, business mind, profit P/L oriented, ROI and knowledge in budget management view  

- Able to travel in up-country area
