AR Assistant Manager
About your role

Be responsible for all activities AR Collection and Treasury to ensure all outstanding debts are collected on time.

What You'll Do
Account Receivable
- Perform AR process for Collection & AR settlement
- Issue D/N or C/N for trade promotion, price diff or extraordinary charge
- Generate and control billing documents, WHT and receipt to the customer and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Maintain and monitor accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions as related to general ledger to ensure validity and accuracy
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Handle the charge-back invoice
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging by weekly
- Collaborate with the sales team, warehouse, logistics and customer service teams to resolve client issues
- Assist with month-end / quarter-end journal entries related to AR accounting area closing and audit processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
AR Reporting
- Set up new customers and managing accounts receivable customer master data in the accounting system
- Review of the credit note for customers in General Trade (GT) to ensure accounting accuracy
- Prepare Presentation for FMM, GT mid-month for management requirement
- Monitor AR balances to ensure WCD improvement
- Ensure credit and collection policies and procedures are followed
- Liaise with customers, as well as cross functional ie. Customer service team / Sales team
Treasury function
- Performing any other related and ad-hoc assignments as assigned ie. Issuing PR in Koface and Concur for F&A department, Supporting and assisting F&A such as Auditor visitor, Engagement / Consultant ie. Deloitte / EY
- Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation
- Prepare record bank transaction journal voucher operation
- Manage and control the day-to-day cash management activities, overviewing daily cash,transfer and withdraw for all banking activities
Others / Ad-hoc
- Perform any other related and ad-hoc assignments as assigned
- Follow company regulations and all implemented standard system
- Other responsibilities as per Company assigned
What You need to be successful
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of working experiences (preferred AR and Credit Control)
- Experience in an accounting operation, audits & policy compliances
- Strong in communications, supervisory skills
- Multi-task handling, team player, “can do” attitude and able to work independently
- Experience in multinational companies will be an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure or tight timeline
- Knowledge of computerized accounting/ SAP Finance system will be advantage
