We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Manager - PM Shift to join our Auckland Distribution Centre, The Vault.

Reporting to the Auckland DC Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in ensuring our warehouse and distribution operations run safely, efficiently and effectively. Leading a team of approximately 25 team members, you'll drive operational performance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a highly engaged, high-performing team culture.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational excellence. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, transport partners and service providers to ensure products are delivered accurately on time and to the highest standards

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing a large operational team to deliver strong performance outcomes
• Driving productivity, labour efficiency and resource planning across the PM shift
• Ensuring customer orders are prepared and distributed accurately and on time
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with health, safety and wellbeing standards
• Monitoring operational performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting automation and warehouse technology utilisation within the DC
• Managing leave, workforce planning and succession development across the team
• Acting as a key leader within the wider logistics function and providing support to the DC Manager when required

We're looking for a people-focused operational leader who enjoys coaching teams, solving problems and driving performance improvements.

You will bring:

• Experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong operational planning and workforce management capability
• Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• A commitment to creating a safe, engaged and high-performing workplace
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with warehouse management systems, ideally SAP
• Exposure to modern warehousing environments and automation technologies.
