The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our team on a 12month fixed term contract. This role is pivotal in building capability within our managers to support them in creating high performing and engaged teams.  

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide specialist advice to managers about policies systems and processes
  • Coach and support managers with complex employee relations cases
  • Work closely with the P&C Business Partner and Talent Management to identify knowledge gaps and build capability
  • Provide support and change management for people projects
  • Work closely with the union as required
  • Drive process improvements within our HR processes and systems

What's in your toolkit?

  • Experience managing complex ER issues ideally within FMCG, retail or hospitality however if you come from another industry and have an eagerness to learn we are open to that too
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the business you will become the go to person for HR related issues
  • You will have experience coaching managers at all stages of their leadership journey to build their capability
  • A continuous improvement mindset you will be constantly be trying to find better ways to do things
  • Experience in a unionised environment is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to be agile and respond to business needs
