The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Brand & Communications the Senior Brand & Activation Manager & Capability Lead is responsible for managing the delivery of the brand shopper strategy and ensuring that the brand presence is consistent at points of purchase across existing products, NPD and any shopper led activations or POS in marketing. The role will also manage any partnership activations with existing partners and plan for and execute activation events.

 

This role also plays a capability leadership role for Activation across the wider marketing team.

 

This is a 12 month fixed term contract based in Auckland or Sydney.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for someone to:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Leadership teams to manage the successful development and implementation of key shopper projects by the team.
  • Work in conjunction with the brand leads to deeply understand the consumer and the shopper
  • Lead for best practice shopper, sampling and owned asset activation
  • Partner with Commercial team to influence trade investment & champion best practice brand activation.
  • Manage total brand activation spend (Shopper, Sampling, Owned Assets) to budget achieving NSW & OI targets.

Experience that you will bring:

To enable you to hit the ground running, we’re looking for someone is outcome focused with a positive can-do attitude as well as:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Extensive marketing experience including a brand activation role or equivalent.
  • Shopper / Trade Marketing, Marketing or Sales experience (highly desirable).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to engage a wide stakeholder network.
