What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

As a Refrigeration Technician in the Equipment Services and Asset Management team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping Suntory Oceania’s beverage distribution network running smoothly. 

 

  • Hands-On Repairs & Diagnostics: You’ll work both in the workshop and out in the field, diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and Postmix systems. Your work ensures our equipment is safe, efficient, and compliant.
  • Customer-Facing Support: About 50% of your time will be spent on-site with customers, making strong communication and service skills essential.
  • Preventative Maintenance & Refurbishment: You’ll help extend the life of our fleet by performing regular maintenance and supporting refurbishment programs.
  • System & Asset Management: You’ll keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities using digital platforms.
  • Collaboration & Training: You’ll work closely with internal teams and external contractors, and you’ll have opportunities to upskill and maintain certifications.

About you | Nō hea koe

  • Certifications in refrigeration and electrical service (including A3 Refrigerant Awareness and Approved Filler)
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude
  • Familiarity with hydrocarbon systems and safety protocols
  • If you’re not an expert in all of these areas, don’t worry! A lot of what we look for is how you would align with our values and your ability to utilise your unique skills and experience.
  • NZ Full Drivers License
