We're looking for a Procurement Business Analyst to join our Procurement team in Auckland on a fixed-term contract until October 2027. This is to cover a team member while they’re on secondment.

 

Reporting to the Procurement Transformation & Excellence Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving procurement transformation across Suntory Oceania.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and improvement-focused professional who enjoys turning data into insights, optimising processes, and enabling business change. You'll help deliver sustainable procurement value by supporting continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing systems and processes, maintaining procurement reporting and governance, and improving supplier onboarding experiences through automation and innovation.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting procurement transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and ways of working
  • Maintaining procurement KPIs, dashboards, reporting and compliance metrics
  • Supporting Fuel for Growth value tracking, reporting and governance
  • Managing supplier onboarding processes and supplier master data
  • Identifying opportunities to automate workflows and leverage emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions
  • Working closely with category managers, business stakeholders, suppliers and technology teams to improve procurement performance and compliance
  • Supporting the integration of sustainability practices into procurement processes and policies

You are naturally curious, commercially minded and passionate about using data and insights to improve business performance. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders, challenging the status quo, and finding smarter ways of working.

 

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline
  • Experience working with best-practice procurement processes
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Experience with procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba or SAP
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail

 

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • A procurement-related professional qualification
  • Experience supporting Source-to-Contract (S2C) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) improvement projects
  • Project management experience
  • Exposure to process automation, digital transformation or AI-enabled solutions
