As One Suntory, we will be positioned as the fourth largest beverage player in the region, ready to ignite the category, creating more beverage moments from sunrise to sunset.
The Opportunity
We’re bringing the best of Suntory to Oceania and building a best-in-class Sales team for our brand-new New Zealand-licensed function which will go live in 2026!
This role of Licensed National Field Sales Manager offers something unique and career-defining. Joining in our build phase, you will build your team from the ground up and play a key role in establishing work processes that best serve your team to achieve sales targets, and grow & promote our product range, whilst exploring new business opportunities!
Key responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership: You'll be leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Area Sales Managers and Territory Managers to exceed their financial objectives.

Strategic Execution: Guiding the team to execute Suntory’s strategies across categories, channels, and customers.

Customer Engagement: Ensuring the team delivers value to on-premises and retail customers and supports new business growth.

Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to boost distribution, visibility, and brand share.

Innovation: Leading the team to execute key innovation and new product development initiatives.

Relationship Building: Building strong relationships with key customers and industry associations.

Coaching and Development: Providing feedback and coaching to team members for their development and career progression.

Safety Champion: Ensuring a safe work environment and embodying Suntory’s leadership spirits and behaviours.
What’s in your toolkit?
With a strong track record of success in a similar, leadership role, you will have exceptional coaching skills and experience in leading and inspiring your team to deliver strong results. You will have a proven ability to manage targets and build new accounts with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. With a strong analytical capability to help you navigate sales data into actionable insights. Experience within the Liquor industry is highly advantageous.
