The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Material Planner based in Auckland to ensure the timely and full supply of raw materials to our production lines. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders to help achieve our production targets and drive efficiency.
- Purchasing: Work with external suppliers to acquire raw materials to meet production plans.
- Supplier Coordination: Interface with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- New Product Development: Manage the run in and run out of materials.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal and external stakeholders to enhance overall efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Focus on process improvement and best practice methods.
What's in your toolkit?
- Material Planning Pro: You've had extensive experience with planning for short shelf-life materials.
- FMCG Guru: Experience in fast-moving consumer goods or a similar environment.
- SAP Savvy: You know your way around the SAP system, ideally with SAP APO.
- Excel Enthusiast: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Data Dynamo: Comfortable analysing large data sets and turning them into actionable insights.
- Solution minded: Ability to solve problems on the go, with a keen eye for process improvement.
