What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

 

We’re looking for an ambitious Key Account Manager – FSNI to lead and grow one of our most strategically important retail partnerships — Foodstuffs North Island.

 

Reporting to the Head of Foodstuffs – North Island, you’ll take ownership of a $30M+ portfolio, working at senior customer level to deliver joint business plans, sustainable growth, and strong commercial outcomes across our full beverage portfolio.

This role has high visibility, real influence, and is ideal for someone ready for a step up or a fresh challenge within a fast‑paced, high‑performing FMCG environment.

 

Adding to the appeal, we’re moving to the Auckland CBD in November, making our office more accessible and centrally located.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong, trusted relationships with FSNI Head Office and field teams
  • Leading joint business planning (1–3 year horizon) and annual activation plans
  • Owning pricing, promotions, forecasting, and portfolio performance
  • Managing P&L, trade spend, and forecast accuracy
  • Leading category reviews, negotiations, and NPD execution
  • Influencing internal stakeholders across Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Field teams
  • Delivering against RGM guardrails while driving profitable, sustainable growth

You’re commercially sharp, highly organised, and thrive in complex retail environments. You bring curiosity, energy, and ownership, and you’re confident influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven FMCG account management or retail commercial experience
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into action
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with forecasting, promotional planning, and trade investment
  • A proactive, resilient mindset — calm under pressure and solutions‑focused

 

Experience with Foodstuffs North Island or large grocery customers is highly regarded, but not essential — we value potential just as much as experience.
