What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

This is an opportunity for a Key Account Manager reporting into the Head of Foodstuffs North Island. The role is Auckland based as you will be required to work closely with the Foodstuffs North Island head office team, based in Mangere.

 

  • Account Management – Maintain, develop and grow our key retail accounts in line with the mid term strategic plan
  • Joint Business Planning – Work closely with key accounts to develop joint business plans and ensure delivery of these
  • Contract Negotiation – Negotiation contract renewals and new business to reach a mutually beneficial agreement
  • Forecasting – Provide accurate monthly and annual forecasting
  • Business Reviews – Conduct month and quarterly business reviews to ensure we are meeting our terms and to identify any areas of opportunity
  • Compliance – closely tracking and monitoring adherence to terms/plan to ensure we are maximising ROI and getting what we paid for

  • Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a P&L and provide forecasting
  • An ability to work in partnership with your key accounts and identify opportunities for profit and portfolio growth
  • Proactive and self-starter mindset
  • Strong analytical skills, able to identify opportunities through insights
  • Adapatable approach with the ability to quickly respond to a constantly changing market
  • Experience negotiating contracts to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement
