The Opportunity

The Beverage Technologist is key to championing technical, process and quality performance across Suntory Oceania to ensure we are consistently delivering quality beverages.

What you’ll be doing

  • Create and maintain Suntory Oceania’s analytical, microbiological and beverage processing technical standards
  • Liaise with equipment suppliers and key customer to ensure understanding and adherence to Suntory Oceania’s standards
  • Partner with site quality specialists to provide and deliver site training plans to build capability within the teams
  • Support supply chain with complex beverage problem solving
  • Create and lead a team of sensory SME’s across the Suntory Oceania network
  • Lead and support improvement projects

What's in your toolkit?

  • Previous experience in leading a beverage manufacturing line or batching facility would be beneficial but not essential
  • Hands on analytical chemistry experience in a highly regulated environment such as beverage, food or pharmaceuticals
  • Relevant tertiary degree in chemistry or chemical engineering
  • A continuous improvement mindset you will strive to ensure we are industry leading
  • Ability to coach and influence teams to build technical capability
  • Proven experience management projects including change management
  • Ability to problem solve and provide innovative solutions
