The Opportunity
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager – Upper North Island (Grocery channe) to lead a team of Territory Managers spanning the Auckland and Northland.

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager (Northern region), the Area Sales Manager is responsible for the effective leadership, coaching and developing of a high performing sales team to achieve sales targets, grow and promote our product range, and explore new business opportunities.
You’ll be leading a team of Territory Managers within the grocery and retail channel and will be responsible for creating a motivating and engaging environment for your team, while being part of the Northern region sales leadership team.
This position is critical to the success of our team, so we’re looking for someone passionate and engaging who can inspire their team to deliver exceptional results.

- Previous experience (or a development plan) within a leadership position
- Strong coaching skills – you know how to get the best out of people
- Proven experience within a sales environment, ideally within an FMCG environment
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills
- A genuine passion and commitment to succeed in a sales based environment
- Strong analytical capability, to help you sail through those sales reports with ease
