This role can be based in Madrid, London, Amsterdam or Paris.
About your role
As our Technical Manager Bottling Plants, you'll be the linchpin of our operations, providing guidance and support to our bottlers across our markets in Europe and Africa. Ensuring they adhere to the production standards as agreed and accepted in the manufacturing agreements. Your main accountabilities will include driving quality performance, conducting audits, managing issues, and overseeing new product launches. With a keen eye for detail, great relationship skills, negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset, you'll navigate complex challenges with finesse, always ensuring that our standards remain outstanding.
What You'll Do
As the Technical Manager Bottling Plants, you will ensure the level of Quality Control and traceability is in place from reception of raw materials / Packaging to Finished Beverage and Packaging integrity. Validate Good Laboratory Practices are in place in all bottlers and the proper quality indicators are kept at optimum levels.
You’ll need to conduct regular audits of all bottlers and set up a follow up process of improvement on identified gaps. Define minimum acceptable levels of Hygiene and Housekeeping as well as strict HACCP implementation.
This role entails to monitor the performance of your bottlers through relevant KPIs and regular meetings with them. To communicate on the quality performance to the organization in Suntory and to actively resolve quality issues of ingredient and packaging or with the quality of the finished product. In case of issues and/or incidents you’ll lead actions plan and RCA with the bottlers.
In case of new product, new line or product or pack change you are the garant with R&D of the delivery of new product required by marketing with a focus on high quality levels, efficient production and minimizing costs. You have a great opportunity to play a pivotal role to support commercial team in growth initiatives by developing production solutions.
What You need to be successful
• A masters education in Chemistry, Biology or engineering
• Experience in a bottling plant
• Experience in similar roles within the FMCG Industry
• Expertise in product quality, food safety and microbiology
• Proven track record in Project Management and engineering
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on driving innovation and leading change
