About your role
To ensure reliable, timely, complete and accurate financial data and effective and efficient accounting and related processes
What You'll Do
Manage the accounting GL team
Manage a team of 3
Develop and grow team capabilities and skills
Be the direct back-up for the financial controller
Periodic closing process
Manage the month, quarter, and year-end close procedures, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations in SAP and HFM
Review balance sheet specifications and reconciliation
Manage ICP reconciliation process
Ensure daily update of banks statements
Ensure proper management of quarterly and yearly audits
Timely preparation/filing of statutory accounts
Preparation and filing of all obligatory filings (CBS, DNB)
Business partner to the different commercial and support departments on financial topics
Liaise with the reporting team (Local/Regional) on the overall efficient closing process and communication with group
Accounting principles
Maintain the group reporting manual and internal SIL accounting procedures and processes
Ensure that all financial data follows corporate accounting policies (IFRS+local standards);
Continuously stay up-to-date on developments in (International) Accounting Standards and the application thereof on business developments
Project management
Participate and manage financial control related projects, starting with ERP upgrade to SAP 4/Hana

What You need to be successful
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting,
Solid experience in an international environment
Experience with people management
FMCG experience
