The Opportunity
As our Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the “Perfect Order” is achieved through efficient picking, packing, and dispatching of finished products. You’ll lead a team of 6–10, fostering a proactive and safety-first culture, while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and coach warehouse staff to achieve KPIs and maintain high performance.
- Ensure safety standards are upheld and drive a strong safety culture.
- Manage daily operations including consumables, MHE maintenance, and shift reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Inventory, Procurement, Sales) and external partners (Transport, Security, Labour Hire).
- Support onboarding, training, and development of team members.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and audit readiness.
What’s in your toolkit?
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution centre.
- SAP or similar WMS knowledge.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in FMCG or light manufacturing environments.
